Trio Show 2003 - Sweepstakes Events

ALL BREED VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES

Friday August 8th, 2003, 12:00 Noon
Judge: Stan Whitmore

To enter the Veteran Sweepstakes dogs must be entered for Exhibition Only ($1.00) on the day of the sweepstakes.

Classes: Dogs 7 yrs up to but under 10 yrs (both sexes) will compete at one time. Dogs 10 yrs and over (both sexes) will compete at one time. The Judge will select one dog from the 7 yrs up to but under 9 yrs class. The Judge will select one dog from the 9 yrs and over class. The Judge will then select one dog from the two winners. That dog will be Best in Veteran Sweeps. The other will be runner up to Best in Veterans Sweepstakes.

Prize Money
Prize money will be divided as follows. Best in Veterans Sweepstakes will receive 50%. Runner up to Best in Veterans Sweepstakes will receive 25%. Another 25% will be held back for administration purposes. Each Entrant into the Veterans Sweepstakes will receive a Rosette.

Special Cash Prizes: $75 for Oldest Veteran Entered in Veteran Sweepstakes, donated by Trio
$25 for Second Oldest Veteran Entered in Veteran Sweepstakes, donated by Trio

All shirts worn by the Judges and Stewards in the All Breed Veteran Sweepstakes are donated by Purina..

ALL BREED PAJAMA PARTY SWEEPSTAKES

Saturday August 9th, 2003, 8:00 am
Classes: 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months
Judges:
Group 1: K. Smith
Group 2 & 4: P. Smekens
Group 3: B. Heard
Group 5: D. Mulholland
Group 6: J. Marshall
Group 7: D. Koffman
Best in Sweepstakes: P. Smekens

To enter the All-Breed Pajama Sweepstakes dogs must be entered in one of the CKC Regular Classes on the day of the sweepstakes.
All exhibitors or agents please note (Judges & Ring Stewards exempt):
All outer clothing must be some form of nightwear,
ie, pajamas, nightgowns, nightcaps, slippers, hair rollers, etc

Classes
Classes: Junior 6 months to under 9 months; Senior 9 months to under 12 months; Open 12 months to under 18 months.

Mechanism
Junior (both sexes) will compete at one time in their respective group. Senior (both sexes) will compete at one time in their respective group. Open (both sexes) will compete at one time in their respective group. Each Judge will pick a best Junior, best Senior, and best Open in their respective groups. The Judge will then pick best in Group from the best Junior, best Senior, and best Open. The Best in Group winner will then go on to compete for Best in Sweeps.
