DVAR (USA)
One of the busiest rescue groups in USA. Tel: 215-297-5970

Gosha (DVAR): This poor girl has been overlooked for so long. She is a sweetie, housebroken responsive and affectionate. The man who turned her into the shelter was sobbing. His wife had come home from the hospital with their first baby and demanded that he “get that hairy beast out of the house.” 215-297-5970

Butch (DVAR):A very sweet, pleasant older boy, Butch’s mom is still living at age 15, so his 8 years are not so old. This boy is mistaken by the unknowledgeable as part St. Bernard - he’s 125 pounds, a red and white pinto, and is an mellow as a dog can be. Anything and everything is fine by him, including cats, small children clambering on him and female dogs - even some male dogs. His is not the smartest Akita, but he is a “character” in the best sense of the word, very easy to live with, and has a lot of love to give. 215-297-5970

Matti (DVAR): Our 6 month old male, White with fawn saddle. This boy has put all his growth into his height so he is a tall, skinny string-bean of a boy (typical adolescent), but he will be a big and very handsome fellow when he grows into his legs. 215-297-5970

ARMAC (USA)

Sasha (ARMAC): 1.5 yr. S/F, white with black markings. Sasha is a very sweet girl. Calm when one-on-one with people, friendly, crate trained, housebroken and also in need of leash manners 301-946-3779.

Ransom (ARMAC): 2 year old male, white with dark brown head and spots, black mask. Handsome fellow. Crate trained, walks well on lead, wants desperately to be in his own home. Is housebroken, 301-946-3779.

Zoey (ARMAC): 1 yr female. She is still in rehab. She ws kept in a rabbit crate, by a local breeder for the past year, because he never recei ed her AKC registration. 301-946-3779

NEARA (USA): A well respected rescue group in USA. Volunteer efforts cover Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. 603-883-2069

Nikita (NEARA) is a 3 year old spayed female, brown and white with a black mask. Nikki loves people and does very well in their company. She is obedient, very smart, and eager to please. She is good with older children. Nikki has captured the hearts of those that have met her. Nikki does not like other animals and cannot go to a home with small animals. Sandy (NEARA) is a 3-4 year old spayed female, tan with a light black mask. Sandy is a wonderful dog, with a great outlook on life. She is always happy and eager to please. Sandy loves everyone - she reminds me of a "southern bell", very prim and proper, well-behaved and dainty. She is non-destructive and fully housebroken. She enjoys just hanging around the house or going for a walk or car ride. She can fit into almost any lifestyle. She knows basic obedience and walks well on a leash.
