CH. Bluespirit's Deputy Fyfe

Barney is the son of Khana and Gus, and while he hasn't yet sired a litter, he holds much promise for Bluespirit Kennel as a potential stud dog.

He is owned by Tom & Bev Lewis of Ontario and has been raised completely on natural food, including fruits, vegetables and raw meat.

Barney displayed great anatomy even at eight weeks (see inset picture), and has been developing well ever since.

This red male is very athletic. He is enrolled in Agility classes, at which he excels, and likes nothing better than his daily game of "kick-ball". This game, which he customized himself, requires him to jump several feet in the air in order to catch a partially deflated soccer ball. Spins of 180 degrees in mid air are common practice. In the summer he loves playing in his personal swimming pool.

Barney's personality is wonderful. He's friendly, happy, intelligent and humorous. He takes to obedience training naturally, and his perception of words is uncanny. He enjoys the company of his owners 24/7, so he gets hauled everywhere, and loves every minute of it. Barney especially loves the company of other dogs.

In 2002 Barney achieved his Canadian Championship in the show ring. He has his Herding Tested Certificate, OVC hips certified, elbows clear, BAER tested hearing both ears, CERF tested clear, and thyroid tested clear.
