Bluespirits Beau
Lobo was born June 1/98 and at 12 weeks old Bluespirit Kennel donated him to the Lions Foundation. The first year he lived with foster parents, Rhonda Workman from K-9 vision. As soon as he turned one year old Bluespirits Beau - renamed Lobo - was sent to the training center in Oakville. Lobo passed all his health testing, and graduated before he was 2 years old.
Gwen Brown from Winnipeg Manitoba had requested an ACD because she had a blue heeler at home on the farm. Lobo was the first to graduate, and Gwen was called her with the good news. She and Lobo hit it off, and Bluespirit frequently gets letters about how great they're both doing. Lobo is brother to Imani in Belguim.

Dear Jackie Pickering,

On behalf of the clients and staff of the Lions Foundation of Canada, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for your puppy/dog donation to our foundation.

Through your dedication and hard work, you have made an important contribution to our dog guide training programs and to Canadians who are blind and/or visually impaired, deaf and/or hard of hearing and physically and/or medically disabled.

Lobo is now a working dog guide with Hearing Ear Dogs of Canada, and a companion and friend to Gwen.

Thank you again for your participation.

Sincerely
Sandy Turney
Executive Director
Hearing Ear Dogs of Canada
